small groups

small groups is a ministry where people belong in personal relationships and live out the core purposes of Valley Life Center. We currently have two different types of groups that exist here at VLC.

 

 

Life Groups

 

Examples: Bible Studies, Seniors Ladies, Young Marrieds, etc....

 

- Life Groups are PERSONAL. People in small groups desire to grow in close relationships with others.

 

- Life Groups are SMALL. Because they are personal they usually range from 6 to 12 adults.

 

- Life Groups are intentional about DISCIPLESHIP. Life Group leaders have

a plan to help people know and be more like Jesus

 

 

Connect Groups

 

Examples: Book Club, Golfing Club, Running Group, etc.....

 

- Connect groups are SOCIAL. People in Connect groups can expect to meet some new people.

 

- Connect groups vary in SIZE. Because they are social in nature they can range in size.

 

- Connect groups are intentional about PARTICIPATION. Connect leaders have a plan to help people get involved.
