Pastor Chris has been leading the congregation of
Valley Life Center since November of 2006. Chris was born and
raised in
the Mid-Willamette valley and finds himself quite comfortable
with the climate and culture of this area.
As a young child, Chris accepted Christ as his personal Savior.
He counts it a privilege to have served in various church
ministries throughout his childhood and youth. Chris knew in
his early years that God had placed a call upon his life to
pastor, and has now been in full-time ministry for the past
24 years. His heart and leadership are reflected in his
desire to LOVE GOD more and LOVE PEOPLE better.
He is thankful for his wife of 24 years, Crystal, and two
daughters,Bethany and Katie, who also enjoy serving Jesus
and His Church. Their hobbies center around family, friends
and music.
Pastor Jerry has been working with the youth at Valley Life
Center since April of 2007. He was born in Dearborn, Michigan
and moved to Chandler, Arizona in first grade. He lived there
until he met and married his wife of almost 15 years. In 1997,
they moved to Oregon and spent ten years of ministry working
with the youth of Sutherlin Assembly of God.
Jerry was not raised in a Christian home, yet there were many
times that God had made himself known. When Jerry was 21
years old his nephew asked him, "Uncle, would you please
take me to church?" Jerry took him to church and ended
up accepting Jesus as Savior. He immediately felt a call to
work with teenagers. His mission is to learn from those willing
to teach, teach those willing to learn and challenge himself
and others to daily life out the purposes of God.
He is thankful for his wife and ministry partner, Julie, and
three kids, Raelee, Randell, and Rylan. One of their daily
priorities is eating together at the dinner table. Jerry
enjoys watching and playing sports.
Pastor Lonelle joined the staff of Valley Life Center in September
of 2008, and considers it a joy to serve the children and families
of VLC. She has lived in the Northwest all of her life and moved to
Dallas in 2003 when she enrolled in Masters Commission.
Lonelle placed her trust in God as a child and refers to her walk
with Christ as an “exciting adventure”. Through the ups
and downs of her journey, trials have served to strengthen her faith
and inspire her to share her hope in Christ and the truth of God's
word with others. She believes that God has called her to disciple
children and be a part of raising up a generation of
reformers.
She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Christian Leadership at Salem
Bible College of Northwest University. Most of her free time is
consumed with studies, however, she enjoys an occasional
inspirational film or novel.
Cindy has been working in administration
with Valley Life Center since 1998.
Growing up in a pastor's home, she moved seven times in 18 years,
living in California, Oregon and Idaho. In 1986, Cindy and her
husband and children, moved to Dallas, and have lived there ever
since (in the same house even).
As a young child, Cindy accepted Christ as her personal Savior.
She has attended Valley Life Center for almost 24 years. The
majority of that time, she has been involved in music ministry
playing a keyboard instrument (i.e. piano, organ). She values the opportunity to offer worship and praise to God through music.
Cindy, also, counts it a privilege to have worked in children's
and women's ministry throughout the years.
Cindy has been married to her wonderful and patient husband, Lee,
for 33 years. They have a daughter, Angela; son and daughter-in-law,
Nathan and Heather; and the most beautiful grandaughter in the
world, Hazel. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys reading, scrapbooking, quilting, and other crafts.
Reneé has been the
receptionist/bookkeeper at Valley Life
Center since 2008.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and then moved to the mainland as
an infant. Reneé moved to Dallas with her
mother in 1987.
Reneé accepted Christ while attending a youth group in Junior
High, and rededicated her life during her high school years. Valley
Life Center has been home church for more than 15 years. For most
of those years, she has been involved in children's, women's, and
marriage ministries. She and her husband, Michael, feel strongly
about healthy, Christ-centered marriages and have enjoyed leading
small groups focused on building that foundation.
Reneé has been married for her wonderful husband for 14 years.
They have four children, Cole, Wyatt, McKenna, and Faith.
Rene´ enjoys scrapbooking, photography, and spending time
with her family.
