The nursery ministry is vital to our church. Not only does it provide a safe and caring environment for children to experience God's love, but it also allows parents to worship and learn while a ministry volunteer tends to the needs of their children. All of our workers have been screened through National Background Checks in an effort to provide as safe an environment as possible for every child in our care.

 

 

Nursery (Birth through 1st year)

 

Please check out some helpful tips to better prepare for your baby's first visit.

 

DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP YOUR CHILD

You may bring your child before service begins. Please fill out the nursery enrollment form carefully; including instructions, allergies, feeding time etc; and sign your child in on the attendance sheet. After service; please pick up your child within 10 minutes of service ending so our ministry team can have an opportunity to fellowship as well.

 

DIAPER BAGS AND PERSONAL ITEMS

Please have your bottles labeled and prepared for the teacher to use. Diapers, wipes and powder are all provided in our nursery. A nursery lead will change your little one's messy diaper if necessary.

 

THIS IS A WELL-CHILD NURSERY

If your child has had an undiagnosed rash, fever, yellow or green runny nose, diarrhea, pink or goopy eyes, or vomiting in the past 24 hours, please keep your child with you during service. If we have questions regarding your child's health, we will contact you.

 

MEDICATIONS

We are NOT ALLOWED to give or apply any type of medication. If your child needs medication, a parent must administer it. For safety, please do not keep any medication in your diaper bag.

 

 

Pre-School (2 years through 3 years)

 

You may bring your child before service begins. This will provide you an opportunity to worship freely as we teach and take care of your little one. After a brief time of play the children will be gathered for their own time of worshipping God through fun songs and playing instruments. The teachers will then share a story from the Bible.

 

After the story your child will create a craft; participate in activity or do some coloring to help reinforce the lesson they just learned. Finally after building up an appetite they will finish the morning with a small tasty snack. We hope that this time can be a blessing to you and your child. Please remember to pick up your child within 10 minutes of service being over so our ministry team can have an opportunity to Fellowship as well.

 

THIS IS A WELL-CHILD PRE-SCHOOL

If your child has had a fever, yellow or green runny nose, diarrhea, pink or goopy eyes, or vomiting in the past 24 hours, please keep your child with you during service. If we have questions regarding your child's health, we will contact you.
